Heeng Ka Achaar

Delicious pickle, simple & oil free!

Heeng Ka Achaar | Baatein Kadhai Se

Ingredients


Raw Mangoes - 250 grams

Red Chilli Flakes - 1 1/2 teaspoons

Heeng/ Asafoetida - 1/2 teaspoon

Roasted Cumin - 1 teaspoon coarsely grounded

Sugar - 2-3 teaspoons, optional

Salt to taste

Method

Step 1 - Cut the mangoes in small pieces, mix salt & keep it overnight.

Step 2 - Mix chilli flakes, heeng, roasted cumin, sugar & adjust to taste. Store in a ceramic/glass jar.

Step 3 - Expose jar to sunlight for 2-3 days.

Step 4 - Its ready!
