Chicken Chilli Dry

My classic take on this Chinese dish. Enjoy making it my way!

Chicken Chilli Dry | Baatein Kadhai Se


Chicken - 500 grams with bone & cut into small pieces

Onion - 3 finely chopped

Onion - 1 diced

Green Chilli - 8-10 finely chopped

Green Capsicum - 1-2

Salt, Vinegar, Soya Sauce, Cornflour as per taste

Butter - 4-5 tablespoons


Step 1 - Heat butter in a pan, add chicken pieces, salt & onion. Fry well.

Step 2 - Add chopped green chillis.

Step 3 - When the chicken is done, add soya sauce, vinegar. Stir well.

Step 4 - Add a little cornflour slurry & mix well.

Step 5 - Serve hot after garnishing with diced capsicum & onion.


1. For best results follow the recipe as variations might alter the taste.

2. Having said that, salt, oil & chilli are a personal choice, and should be added according to one's taste.
