Aate Ka Pua

A sweet & delicious option for breakfast - our Indian version of mini pancakes.

Aate Ke Pua | Baatein Kadhai Se


Wheat Flour. - 1 cup

Sugar to taste - 2 tablespoons

Oil for frying


Step 1 - Make a slurry of raw wheat flour & sugar. Let it rest for 4-5 hours.

Step 2 - Take a small wok, heat some oil & start making the puas, like pakodis. You can fry 4-5 at a time. Fry on a low flame (important as the flour needs to be cooked well till inside), till the colour turns brown.

Step 3 - Serve hot.

Tip: The same slurry can be used to make cheelas/thin, crisp & round pancakes.
